A deranged alien conspiracy theorist goes on a drug-fueled murder spree in the trailer for the twisted horror comedy "Welcome to Willits."

Character actor Bill Sage (from the crime comedy series "Hap and Leonard" and the horror thriller "We Are What We Are") plays a LSD-addicted pot grower named Brock, who lives in the woods of Northern California. When suffering from nightmarish visions of little green men, Brock finds himself tumbling down a psychedelic rabbit hole, only to emerge on a path toward death and destruction.

Co-starring Rory Culkin, Anastasia Baranova, Sabina Gadecki, Chris Zylka, Thomas Dekker, and Garrett Clayton, with a special appearance from Dolph Lundgren, "Welcome to Willits" is the feature debut of director Trevor Ryan, based on his short film of the same name.

Acquired by IFC Midnight, the movie will be released in theaters and on VOD September 22nd.

Aliens, burnouts and clueless campers collide in this bloody and bonkers slasher freak-out. Deep in the woods of Northern California lies the off-the-grid town of Willits, a haven for marijuana growers, meth addicts, and conspiracy theorists. When a gaggle of vacationing teens unknowingly set up their campsite on the property of Willits' most disturbed resident -- a psychotic, drug-addled pot farmer convinced extraterrestrials are out to get him -- they're in for one hell of a bad time. The feature debut from director Trevor Ryan is a no-holds-barred pileup of carnage, twisted comedy, and pure crazy.
