From the demented minds of comedian Nick Kroll and "Family Guy" writer Andrew Goldberg, comes a new Netflix animated comedy series that captures the horrific awkwardness of puberty.

Loosely based on the early teenage years of Kroll and Goldberg (who have been close friends since childhood), "Big Mouth" follows best friends Nick and Andrew (voiced by Kroll and comedian John Mulaney) as they navigate through the terrors of adolescence.

Maya Rudolph lends her voice as a profanity-spouting Hormone Monstress who emerges from the shadows when called upon. Watch the Hormone Monstress and the Hormone Monster in action in a couple of newly released teaser clips, above.

Also featuring the voices of Jessi Klein, Jason Mantzoukas, Jordan Peele, Fred Armisen, and Jenny Slate, "Big Mouth" will premiere on Netflix with ten half-hour episodes beginning September 29th.
