added: Thu, Aug 10th '17

Check out a new preview for "The Gifted," FOX's new fall series that's set in the X-Men universe.

Hailing from "X-Men" director Bryan Singer and "Burn Notice" creator Matt Nix, the forthcoming TV drama follows a not-so-ordinary suburban family as they're forced to go on the run when a ruthless anti-mutant government agency, called the Sentinel Services, is ordered to hunt them down.

True Blood's Stephen Moyer and Person of Interest's Amy Acker take on the roles of the parents while newcomers Natalie Alyn Lind and Percy Hynes White play their teenage children, each of whom possesses specific mutant powers.

Set in a world where members of the X-Men have gone missing and mutants are outlawed by the government, the show's premise features an underground network of runaway mutants, which includes Thunderbird (Blair Redford), Polaris (Emma Dumont), Blink (Jamie Chung), and Eclipse (Sean Teale).

Singer directs the pilot episode of the FOX series, which is scheduled to air on Monday, October 2nd.
