Nick Cannon travels to Jamaica and immerses himself in the local dance culture in the official trailer for the new dance movie "King of the Dancehall."

Cannon not only stars but also writes, produces, and directs this rump-shaking drama about a Brooklynite (Cannon) who is drawn into the edgy world of Jamaican dancehall.

While desperate to finance a medical operation for his ailing mother (Oscar-winner Whoopi Goldberg), Cannon flies to Jamaica for a money-making opportunity but instead becomes enamored by a beautiful Jamaican dancer (newcomer Kimberly Patterson). Luckily, she teaches him how to dance like a real Jamaican badass for an upcoming dancehall contest, in which top prize is enough cash to set his mother up for good.

Co-starring rapper Busta Rhymes, Oscar-winner Louis Gossett Jr. and Peter Stormare, "King of the Dancehall" premiered at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival and had since been acquired by YouTube for its subscription service, YouTube Red.

Starting today, August 2nd, the film is available to stream on YouTube Red.
