Chadwick Boseman is on a revenge-fueled warpath. And nothing will stop him from finding his sister's killer in the newly released trailer for "Message from the King."

In this gritty action thriller for Netflix, the "Black Panther" star gets to shed his superhero suit, but not the African accent. Here, Boseman plays a man from South Africa, who travels from Cape Town to Los Angeles to search for his beloved younger sister who had left a distressed message on his voice mail several days ago. When he discovers his sister is, in fact, dead, murdered by someone she must've known, he channels all his rage into finding the people responsible, which leads him on a violent journey through the seedier side of Los Angeles.

Co-starring Teresa Palmer, Luke Evans, and Alfred Molina, "Message from the King" is directed by Belgian filmmaker Fabrice Du Welz, known for the French-language horror films "Calvaire" and "Alleluia."

Acquired by Netflix after it premiered last September at the Toronto International Film Festival, "Message from the King" will start streaming in the U.S. on Friday, August 4th.
