Among the numerous projects he's been working on this year, James Franco has managed to squeeze in a co-starring role in the bank robbery/supernatural thriller "The Vault," for which a trailer has recently been released online.

Directed by horror filmmaker Dan Bush, co-director of 2007's cult sci-fi horror mind-bender "The Signal," the forthcoming film casts Franco as a bank manager whose branch office is suddenly attacked by a gang of heavily armed thieves. And while the robbers are looking to crack open the bank's basement vault. The thing is, the vault doesn't only hold cash and valuables. Apparently, it's also been used to store some evil ghostly spirits.

Starring model/socialite Francesca Eastwood (daughter of Clint), Taryn Manning (Orange Is the New Black), and Scott Haze (Midnight Special) as the three bank robbers; Q'orianka Kilcher (The New World) as a bank employee, and Clifton Collins Jr. as a detective, "The Vault" is scheduled to hit theaters and VOD on September 1st.
