AMC's The Walking Dead: Season 8 — Comic-Con Trailer

added: Fri, Jul 21st '17

Get ready to "shit your pants," because AMC has just dropped the very first trailer for the much-anticipated Season 8 of the hit zombie series "The Walking Dead."

The preview, which just premiered today at the San Diego Comic Con, teases the imminent war between bat-swinging Saviors leader Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and pistol-toting survivalist Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln). Of course, the action wouldn't be complete without the full participation of King Ezekiel (Khary Payton) and his pet Bengal tiger, Shiva.

It's Negan's Saviors versus Rick's Alexandria crew, the Hilltop, and The Kingdom. It's time to place your bets -- though keep in mind, the odds aren't great on either side of this war. But it's a war for the future of the world, and that's worth fighting for.

"The Walking Dead: Season 8" is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, October 22nd.

Based on one of the most successful and popular comic books of all time, written by Robert Kirkman, AMC’s The Walking Dead captures the ongoing human drama following a zombie apocalypse. The series follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln. However, instead of the zombies, it is the living who remain that truly become the walking dead.
