SNL cast member Kyle Mooney plays a TV-obsessed man-child in the new full-length trailer for the quirky, deadpan comedy "Brigsby Bear."

One of the breakout hits at this year's Sundance Film Festival, the indie movie was made by Mooney and his childhood friends, screenwriter Kevin Costello and director/SNL writer Dave McCary.

Co-starring "Star Wars" icon Mark Hamill and Jane Adams (Hung, Twin Peaks) as Mooney's oddly protective father and mother, the film follows the coming-of-age travails of a confused childlike man named James (Mooney) who was raised in near-isolation for most of his life but is now free to do anything his heart desires. And what he desires is to recreate and complete the final season of his favorite children's television show, which featured a space-traveling teddy bear character named 'Brigsby Bear.'

Described by critics as a cross between "The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" and "Be Kind Rewind," the film co-stars Ryan Simpkins, Michaela Watkins, Matt Walsh, with appearances by Greg Kinnear and Claire Danes.

Produced in part by the comedy troupe 'Lonely Island' (Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone) along with directing duo Phil Lord and Chris Miller, "Brigsby Bear" is hitting select theaters on July 28th.
