Ryan Gosling seeks out the truth in a brand-new trailer for the highly-anticipated "Blade Runner" sequel, which also stars Harrison Ford reprising his iconic role as now-reclusive, ex-replicant hunter Rick Deckard.

Gosling plays "Officer K," a Los Angeles detective who finds himself on an investigative case that has him looking for the long-missing Deckard in the upcoming sci-fi movie, which takes place 30 years after the original Ridley Scott-directed classic, which was based on a Philip K. Dick novel.

This time, directed by acclaimed French-Canadian director Denis Villeneuve, of "Arrival" and "Sicario" fame, the film also features Robin Wright, Jared Leto, Mackenzie Davis, Ana de Armas, and Dave Bautista.

Executive produced by Ridley Scott, "Blade Runner 2049" is due to hit theaters on October 6th.

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
