A second Civil War has broken out in America! New York City has been turned into a bullet-riddled war zone, and "Guardians of the Galaxy" star Dave Bautista may be the only person in Brooklyn who knows how to escape the city.

Check out the debut trailer for one of the most talked-about films at Sundance this year, the action thriller "Bushwick," which finds "Pitch Perfect" star Brittany Snow as a frightened woman who finds herself stranded in Brooklyn when the Texas military army suddenly invades New York City. She partners up with a skilled war veteran (Bautista) as they try to escape the four boroughs in one piece.

"Bushwick" is directed by Cary Murnion and Jonathan Milott, the directing duo behind 2014's horror-comedy "Cooties." The film was written by cult horror actor/screenwriter Nick Damici (Stake Land) and sound editor-turned-horror filmmaker Graham Reznick (5 States of Fear).

Co-starring Arturo Castro, Christian Navarro, and Angelic Zambrana, "Bushwick" is due to hit theaters and VOD on August 25th.
