Brendan Gleeson stars in AT&T's new limited drama series "Mr. Mercedes," based on Stephen King's popular hard-boiled detective novel where Gleeson plays a retired homicide investigator who gets taunted by an elusive psychopathic computer whiz killer who is the prime suspect in a brutal mass murder involving a stolen Mercedes. Check out the newly-released trailer for the upcoming original series that begins airing next month.

Executive produced by Emmy-winning TV producer David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies, Ally McBeal) and Emmy-winning producer-director Jack Bender (Lost, Game of Thrones). The cable series also stars Kelly Lynch (Magic City), Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds), and Harry Treadaway (Penny Dreadful) who replaces the late Anton Yelchin who was originally cast to play Brady Hartsfield aka Mr. Mercedes.

"Mr. Mercedes" is scheduled to begin its ten-episode run starting on Wednesday, August 9th on DirecTV's AT&T Audience Network.

"Mr. Mercedes" follows a demented killer Brady Hartsfield (Harry Treadaway) who taunts a retired police detective Bill Hodges (Brendan Gleeson) with a series of lurid letters and emails, forcing the ex-cop to undertake a private, and potentially felonious, crusade to bring the killer to justice before he is able to strike again.
