Pilgrimage — New Trailer

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" star Tom Holland trades in his superhero suit for a monk's robe as he shares the screen with "Punisher" actor Jon Bernthal in the new trailer for the gritty medieval epic "Pilgrimage."

Also starring Richard Armitage (star of the Peter Jackson-directed "The Hobbit" trilogy), the 1209 AD-set thriller centers on a group of monks assigned to transport a sacred holy relic across a war-ravaged region in Ireland which is surrounded by godless barbarians. Bernthal plays a sword-wielding mute who has sworn to protect the monks while on their treacherous journey.

Directed by Irish filmmaker Brendan Muldowney (who's making his feature directorial debut, following his 2009 award-winning short "Savage"), "Pilgrimage" also stars French actor Stanley Weber (from the television series "Outlander" and "Borgia").

The film is hitting theaters and VOD on August 11th.
