Tennis superstars Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe were known for having one of the greatest rivalries in the history of sports. They were like the tennis equivalent of Magic Johnson and Larry Bird: Polar opposite personalities but enormous admiration for each other's abilities on the court.

But in all the games they battled against each other throughout their long professional careers, the one that sticks out the most and the one that everyone in the world keeps talking about is their legendary five-set Wimbledon match in 1980, which many considered as the best Wimbledon final ever played.

That historic showdown between the 24-year-old Swedish machine and the 21-year-old mouthy New Yorker (often dubbed as "Fire and Ice") is the subject of the upcoming feature film "Borg vs McEnroe," for which a new full-length trailer has been released online.

Swedish actor Sverrir Gudnason and American actor Shia LaBeouf portray the tennis icons in this Swedish/English-language drama, which also stars Stellan Skarsgard (Good Will Hunting, Thor) as Borg's coach and former tennis star Lennart Bergelin.

Directed by Danish filmmaker Janus Metz (Armadillo, HBO's True Detective), "Borg vs McEnroe" is slated to open internationally in September. As of yet, the film doesn't have an official U.S. release date.
