Netflix's Ozark: Season 1 — New 'Holiday' Teaser

Netflix has released a "Holiday" teaser for "Ozark," the new original, dark crime series from Jason Bateman, in which he not only stars but also executive produces the series and directs the pilot episode.

Bateman is joined by a cast that includes three-time Oscar-nominated actress Laura Linney and newcomers Sofia Hublitz (TV's Louie) and Skylar Gaertner (I Smile Back) as Bateman's wife and children.

The drama follows the Byrde family as they relocate from the suburbs of Chicago to a remote part of the Missouri Ozarks. As the story unfolds, we find out that patriarch Marty Byrde (Bateman) is a financial planner who secretly works as one of the world's top money launderers for a Mexican Drug Cartel.

Created by screenwriter Bill Dubuque (The Judge, The Accountant) and film producer Mark Williams, "Ozark" co-stars Esai Morales (La Bamba, TV's NYPD Blue) and Julia Garner (FX's The Americans, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For)

The ten-episode series is due to premiere July 21st on Netflix.
