Winner of the Special Jury Prize at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival, "Step" is an inspirational documentary that chronicles the final year of high school for a group of Baltimore teen girls who have worked hard to build a formidable step dance team. As they set their sights for college, the girls enter their graduation year with the goal of winning the step championship.
Directed by Tony-winning Broadway producer and first-time documentary filmmaker Amanda Lipitz (creator of the MTV series "Legally Blonde the Musical: The Search for Elle Woods"), "Step" has earned rave reviews on the festival circuit.

synopsis:
