HBO's Game of Thrones: Season 7 — New Trailer

added: Wed, Jun 21st '17

We're less than a month away from the much-anticipated return of HBO's uber-popular fantasy series "Game of Thrones." But for those GoT fans who can no longer wait and demand to see another peek at Season 7 before it premieres in July -- well, it seems HBO has heard your cries and your pain. The network has released a brand-new Season 7 trailer, which will hopefully tide you over until next month.

The preview hints on a great war that seemingly transforms the entire region of Westeros into a grisly battlefield with multiple skirmishes. So, in other words: this summer, prepare for winter ... 'cause "winter is here!"

Led by Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Sophie Turner, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Maisie Williams, Lena Headey, Liam Cunningham, Alfie Allen and a big-ass dragon, "Game of Thrones: Season 7" (the second-to-last season of the series) will start airing on Sunday, July 16th.

Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne has begun. It will stretch from the south, where heat breeds plots, lust and intrigues; to the vast and savage eastern lands; all the way to the frozen north, where an 800-foot wall of ice protects the kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all will play the 'Game of Thrones.'
