Amazon Studios has released the debut trailer for their new original film "The Only Living Boy in New York," starring Callum Turner, Jeff Bridges, Kate Beckinsale, Kiersey Clemons, Pierce Brosnan, and Cynthia Nixon.

Directed by "500 Days of Summer" and "The Amazing Spider-Man" director Marc Webb, the New York-set drama follows a cynical college graduate named Thomas Webb (played by Turner -- from "Green Room" and "Assassin's Creed") as he forms an unlikely friendship with his new eccentric neighbor (Bridges).

While following his neighbor's relationship advice, Thomas makes an effort to win the heart of his childhood crush (Clemons). But things veer off into an unexpected direction when Thomas secretly catches his father (Brosnan) having an affair with a beautiful woman (Beckinsale) who he personally finds irresistible.

Written by "Collateral Beauty" and "21" scribe Allan Loeb, "The Only Living Boy in New York" will be released in theaters on August 11th.

synopsis:
Thomas Webb (Callum Turner), the son of a publisher and his artistic wife, has just graduated from college and is trying to find his place in the world. Moving from his parents’ Upper West Side apartment to the Lower East Side, he befriends his neighbor W.F. (Jeff Bridges), a shambling alcoholic writer who dispenses worldly wisdom alongside healthy shots of whiskey. Thomas’ world begins to shift when he discovers that his long-married father (Pierce Brosnan) is having an affair with a seductive younger woman (Kate Beckinsale). Determined to break up the relationship, Thomas ends up sleeping with his father’s mistress, launching a chain of events that will change everything he thinks he knows about himself and his family.
