War for the Planet of the Apes — Film Clip: 'I Came For You'

added: Mon, Jun 19th '17

Caesar (Andy Serkis) has an intense face-to-face conversation with the Colonel (Woody Harrelson) in a new film clip from "War for the Planet of the Apes."

In the middle of an abandoned warehouse, we see Caesar is chained up and held at gunpoint by a human soldier. Standing tall and proud, the Colonel looks down at Caesar and says: "Have you finally come to save your apes?" To which Caesar replies, "I came for you!"

At this point, the Colonel appears to have the upper hand. But history tells us that Caesar should not be underestimated nor should he be expected to give up without a fight.

Directed and co-written by Matt Reeves, the third chapter of the rebooted franchise also features motion-capture performances from Steve Zahn, Karin Konoval, Judy Greer and Terry Notary with Amiah Miller co-starring as the young orphan girl, Nova. The film arrives in theaters July 14th.
