Check out a new batch of TV commercials for writer-director Christopher Nolan's highly-anticipated WWII thriller "Dunkirk."

The film, featuring a strong ensemble cast that includes the likes of Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy, James D'Arcy, and Oscar-winner Mark Rylance, chronicles the 1940 evacuation of 400,000 Allied soldiers (mostly British men) from the beaches of Dunkirk, France.

It was a massive military operation that, if failed, would have been a catastrophic disaster for the Allies and could have resulted in losing the war to Hitler.

"Dunkirk," which also features the acting debut of pop singer Harry Styles and newcomer Fionn Whitehead, will be hitting theaters and IMAX on July 21st -- with special engagements in 70mm and 35mm.
