Emmy-and-Golden Globe winning actress Kyra Sedgwick (former star of TNT's "The Closer") makes her directorial debut with an upcoming Lifetime cable movie, which is co-starring her real-life husband, Kevin Bacon.

In "Story of a Girl," a coming-of-age teen drama that's based on Sara Zarr's best-selling young-adult novel, actress Ryann Shane (from the Cinemax crime series "Banshee") plays Deanna Lambert, a 16-year-old high schooler who's unable to escape her painful past. Three years earlier, a secretly recorded video of her having sex with an older boy was maliciously leaked out onto the internet. Now Deanna walks the halls of her high school alone, branded as the school slut.

Jon Tenney (The Closer), Sarah Grey (Power Rangers) and Tyler Johnston (Shut Eye) co-star. While Kyra and Kevin's own daughter Sosie Bacon (from Netflix's "13 Reasons Why") will also appear in the Lifetime movie.

"Story of a Girl" debuts on Sunday, July 23rd.

When a sex video of 13-year-old Deanna (Ryann Shane) and Tommy (Tyler Johnson) goes viral, her life of carefree innocence is changed forever. Three years later, Deanna is still dealing with the fallout of the video, including being branded the school slut. Her home life is even more troublesome as her father's anger and disappointment over the incident has left him unable to look her in the eye. Ready to move on, Deanna longs to escape a life defined by the mistakes of her past.
