Tom Cruise once again feels the need for speed. But this time, his wild airplane adventures could land him in prison for a very long time -- that is, if he doesn't end up getting murdered by Pablo Escobar.

Check out the first trailer for the upcoming fact-based movie "American Made," in which Cruise reteams with his "Edge of Tomorrow" director Doug Liman (who also directed "The Bourne Identity" and "Mr. & Mrs. Smith") to tell the incredible yet unbelievable true story of Barry Seal, a TWA pilot who in the early 1980s was recruited by the CIA to operate undercover as a drug and gun runner for Escobar's Medellin Cartel. However, the longer Barry went on, the more comfortable he got with breaking the law to a point where the lines between criminality and lawful activity were blurred, if not ignored.

Co-starring Domhnall Gleeson, Jayma Mays, and Sarah Wright and produced by Brian Grazer and Ron Howard, "American Made" is hitting theaters on September 29th.
