It's good to be bad. Ex-supervillain-turned-family man GRU is reminded of that when he meets DRU, his long-lost twin brother in the new trailer for "Despicable Me 3."

Comedian Steve Carell is back as the voice of Gru in this third film in the hit animated comedy series. Carell is also the voice of Gru's blonde-haired twin sibling Dru, who appears to be a bad influence as he intentionally tries to lure Gru (and his yellow Minions) back into villainy.

"I brought you here to continue the family business," Dru says in the above trailer while giving his brother a tour of their secret family lair. "Become a villain again."

It's not long before Gru and Dru are caught prancing around in skin-tight villain outfits by Gru's wife Lucy (voiced by Kristen Wiig), who happens to be an Anti-Villain League agent.

In addition to Carell and Wiig, the film also stars the voice of "South Park" co-creator Trey Parker as Balthazar Bratt, a once famous child star in the '80s but is now the most wanted villain in the world.

Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda, the animators who directed the previous "Despicable" movies, as well as the 2015 spin-off "Minions," are directing, while "Despicable" character designer Eric Guillon serves as co-director.

"Despicable Me 3" arrives in theaters on June 30th.

synopsis:
The team who brought you Despicable Me and the biggest animated hits of 2013 and 2015, Despicable Me 2 and Minions, returns to continue the adventures of Gru, Lucy, their adorable daughters -- Margo, Edith and Agnes -- and the Minions.

Joining Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig in Despicable Me 3 is Emmy, Tony and Grammy Award winner Trey Parker, co-creator of Comedy Central's global phenomenon South Park and the Broadway smash The Book of Mormon. Parker voices the role of villain Balthazar Bratt, a former child star who's grown up to become obsessed with the character he played in the '80s, and proves to be Gru's most formidable nemesis to date.
