Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson are the concerned parents to a special young boy in the debut trailer for "Wonder," the inspirational family drama that's based on author R.J. Palacio's best-selling novel of the same name.

10-year-old kid actor Jacob Tremblay, who won accolades as Brie Larson's young son in the hard-hitting drama "Room", plays August Pullman, a sweet, precocious 5th grader who was born with severe facial abnormalities. Despite being raised by two loving and supportive parents (Roberts and Wilson), August can't help but feel different as he begins the new year at a new school with new classmates.

Stephen Chbosky, the director and writer of "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," helms the upcoming film, which co-stars Daveed Diggs, Mandy Patinkin, Izabela Vidovic, Sonia Braga, Millie Davis, and Noah Jupe.

"Wonder" is currently slated for a November 17th theatrical release.

synopsis:
Based on the New York Times bestseller, WONDER tells the inspiring and heartwarming story of August Pullman. Born with facial differences that, up until now, have prevented him from going to a mainstream school, Auggie becomes the most unlikely of heroes when he enters the local fifth grade. As his family, his new classmates, and the larger community all struggle to find their compassion and acceptance, Auggie's extraordinary journey will unite them all and prove you can't blend in when you were born to stand out.
