Billionaire tech genius Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.) has made a badass superhero suit for local teen crime-fighter Peter Parker (Tom Holland). And the awesome outfit comes with all the bells and whistles and an impressive computer intelligent system to boot.

Watch Parker as he tries out his new high-tech Spidey suit in a brand-new trailer for the hotly anticipated comic book movie "Spider-Man: Homecoming."

Directed by Jon Watts (Cop Car), the upcoming film is a reboot that explores Parker's high school years. It's also the first Spider-Man movie to be set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, taking place after the events of "Captain America: Civil War," during which Parker and Stark have developed a special kind of student-mentor relationship.

That relationship further develops in the movie, but it seems Stark wants Peter to play it safe -- to be a "friendly neighborhood Spider-Man." Meanwhile, Peter feels he can do "more" by taking on bigger and more dangerous missions. Peter gets a "chance to prove himself" to Stark when a certain criminal mastermind with giant "Vulture"-like mechanical wings (Michael Keaton) suddenly swoops into town and causes all sorts of havoc.

Co-starring Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, and newcomer Jacob Batalon as Parker's best friend, "Spider-Man: Homecoming" is due to open on July 7th.

synopsis:
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine -- distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man -- but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
