They say that "one man's trash is another man's treasure." But in Clare Shannon's case, her dream-making treasure turns out to be a total nightmare. Check out the new final trailer for the upcoming haunted music box horror-thriller "Wish Upon."

The supernatural thriller stars Joey King (White House Down, The Conjuring) as bullied high-school student Clare Shannon, who one day accompanies her dumpster diver father (Ryan Phillippe) to look for some sidewalk treasures. But when she finds a mysterious music box, Clare is granted seven wishes. Soon, to her amazement, the box actually starts granting her wishes. But just when everything seems to be going her way, Clare finds out that some of the people closest to her, start dying in the most gruesome deaths.

Veteran cinematographer John R. Leonetti, of "The Conjuring," and "Insidious," and director of "Annabelle," helms "Wish Upon," which also co-stars Ki Hong Lee (Maze Runner), Alice Lee (TV's Switched at Birth), and Shannon Purser (aka Barb from Netflix's Stranger Things).

"Wish Upon" creeps into theaters this summer, starting on July 14th.

synopsis:
Twelve years after discovering her mother's suicide, 17-year-old Clare Shannon (Joey King) is bullied in high school, embarrassed by her manic, hoarder father Jonathan (Ryan Phillippe) and ignored by her longtime crush. All that changes when her father comes home with an old music box whose inscription promises to grant its owner seven wishes.

While Clare is initially skeptical of this magic box, she can't help but be seduced by its dark powers, and is thrilled as her life radically improves with each wish. Clare finally has the life she's always wanted and everything seems perfect -- until the people closest to her begin dying in violent and elaborate ways after each wish.

Clare realizes that she must get rid of the box, but finds herself unable and unwilling to part with her new-and-improved life -- leading her down a dark and dangerous path.
