They had one of the greatest rivalries in sports history. And every time they faced off on the tennis court, you knew the world was watching.

Check out the first international teaser trailer for "Borg/McEnroe," the upcoming tennis drama about the legendary 1980 Wimbledon match between the cool-and-calm Swedish champ Bjorn Borg (played by Swedish actor Sverrir Gudnason) and the loud-and-brash New York phenom John McEnroe (played by Shia LaBeouf). The match would go down in history as one of the greatest Wimbledon finals ever.

Co-starring Stellan Skarsgard (The Avengers, Thor) as Borg's chief coach and former tennis star Lennart Bergelin, "Borg/McEnroe" is directed by Danish filmmaker Janus Metz, who helmed the 2010 war documentary "Armadillo" and also directed an episode of Season 2 of HBO's "True Detective."

"Borg/McEnroe" will be released internationally in September. As of yet, the film does not have an official U.S. release date.
