Bong Joon-ho, the acclaimed South Korean filmmaker of "Snowpiercer" and "The Host," has a new Netflix movie! And it's basically a heart-rending story about a young Korean farm girl and her unshakable love for her pet pig. Albeit, her pet pig is a genetically enhanced giant creature that supposedly tastes "f--king good!"

While it's about to make its world premiere in competition this week at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, Netflix has unveiled the official full-length trailer for "Okja," Bong Joon-ho's "super pig" adventure movie, which stars Korean kid actress Ahn Seo-hyun as farm girl Mija, and Tilda Swinton as Lucy Mirando, the evil-genius mogul whose science company is responsible for creating the genetically altered Super Pigs.

"It's a revolution in the livestock industry," Swinton says in the above trailer before fearing the little girl's heroic actions to save her pet pig, "Okja," from the slaughter house will ultimately "destroy" her company -- at least in the public's eye.

The film also seems to have an animal activist subplot, in which an underground team of animal-loving militants (whose members include Paul Dano, Lily Collins, and The Walking Dead's Steven Yeun) is actively trying to bring Swinton's evil corporation down and in the process also rescue Okja and return it back to its rightful owner, Mija.

Jake Gyllenhaal and Breaking Bad's Giancarlo Esposito are also among the cast of "Okja," which will be released globally on Netflix next month beginning June 28th. It will also have a small theatrical release as well.

From visionary Director Bong Joon Ho, this grand global adventure follows a friendship too big to ignore. Meet Mija, a young girl who risks everything to prevent a powerful, multi-national company from kidnapping her best friend -- a massive animal named Okja. Following her across continents, the coming-of-age comedy drama sees Mija's horizons expand in a way one never would want for one’s children, coming up against the harsh realities of genetically modified food experimentation, globalization, eco-terrorism, and humanity’s obsession with image, brand and self-promotion.
