From "Fast and the Furious" director Justin Lin, television writer-producer Aaron Rahsaan Thomas (CSI: NY, Friday Night Lights) and FX's "The Shield" creator Shawn Ryan, comes the new reboot of the action police drama "S.W.A.T."

Check out the first-look preview for the new CBS fall series, starring "Criminal Minds" actor Shemar Moore as a newly appointed leader of the LAPD SWAT unit who finds himself trying to do his job amidst the rising tensions between the police department and his hometown Los Angeles community.

The new action drama is based on the 2003 Colin Farrell and Samuel L. Jackson's film of the same name, which itself was the modern-day take on the 1970s television show.

Justin Lin, who previously helmed last year's blockbuster "Star Trek Beyond," directs the first episode of the series, which also stars Stephanie Sigman (Spectre), Kenny Johnson (The Shield), Lina Esco (Kingdom), David Lim (Quantico), and Costas Mandylor (from the "Saw" films).

"S.W.A.T." is coming this Fall on CBS.
