Marvel's The Gifted — Official Trailer

added: Mon, May 15th '17

Marvel and FOX are teaming up this fall for a new television series. And it's going to be set in a universe where mutants are not only hunted down like wild animals, but mutant groups like the X-Men and the Brotherhood may no longer exist.

From "X-Men" director Bryan Singer and "Burn Notice" creator Matt Nix, "The Gifted" stars "True Blood" actor Stephen Moyer as a secret government agent whose job is to track down unidentified mutants and permanently imprisoned them. But he has a change of heart when he discovers his own teenage son and daughter possess mutant powers. Now forced to take his entire family on the run, he's left with no other choice but to rely on an underground network of mutant fugitives as his children become the focus of an intense manhunt conducted by his former government colleagues.

Also starring Person of Interest's Amy Acker as Moyer's wife and Natalie Alyn Lind and Percy Hynes White as their super-powered mutant children, the action drama will begin with an opening episode directed by Singer. The cast also includes Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Coby Bell, Emma Dumont, and Blair Redford.

Marvel's "The Gifted" premieres this fall as part of Fox's new slate of fall shows. In the meantime, you can watch the new official trailer, above.
