Transformers: The Last Knight — Sneak Peek Clip (MTV Awards)

added: Sun, May 7th '17

Check out a new sneak peek clip from director Michael Bay's "Transformers: The Last Knight," which first aired during the 2017 MTV Movie and TV Awards.

Here, Mark Wahlberg returns for his second "Transformers" film (the fifth in the franchise) as tech mechanic Cade Yeager.

In the above clip, we see Cade meeting robot historian Sir Edmund Burton (played by Sir Anthony Hopkins) for what appears to be the first time. Burton is not only an expert on the Transformers but also seems to know the real reason why the Transformers keep coming to Earth. With a playful smirk, we see Hopkins asking Wahlberg about this in the clip: "Yes, but you want to know, don't ya duuude?"

Also starring Josh Duhamel, Isabela Moner, Laura Haddock, and Jerrod Carmichael, "Transformers: The Last Knight" is hitting theaters June 21st.

The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).
