Spider-man shows off his crawling skills in a new sneak peek clip from the much-awaited superhero reboot "Homecoming," the first Spider-man movie to be included in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In the film, which takes place after the events of last year's "Captain America: Civil War," Tom Holland once again plays a high-school-aged Peter Parker. This time, Peter is trying to find his place in his new Marvel world, where Tony Stark is the superhero genius you need to impress as he's the one who constructs all those awesome superhero suits.

The clip, which premiered during the 2017 MTV Movie and TV Awards, offers a look at Tom Holland's Spidey as he tries to sneak into his bedroom, only to be caught red-handed by his best friend, Ned (Jacob Batalon), who can't believe he just saw Peter crawling on the ceiling.

Directed by Jon Watts (Cop Car), "Spider-Man: Homecoming" co-stars Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, and Michael Keaton as Spider-man's main baddie, The Vulture.

The film arrives in theaters everywhere on July 7th.

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine -- distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man -- but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
