Robert Patrick is notorious prison escapee Gary Tison in the first trailer for the 1978-set true-crime thriller "Last Rampage."

Based on the non-fiction book by James W. Clarke, the Arizona-set film tells the real-life story of convicted murderer Gary Tison (portrayed by Patrick) who in 1978 convinced his three young sons to help him plan a brazen and violent prison break.

Bruce Davison and a nearly unrecognizable Heather Graham co-star.

"Last Rampage" is directed by veteran television and film director Dwight H. Little, whose credits include directing "Rapid Fire," "Murder at 1600," TV's "Bones," TV's "Prison Break" and TV's "24."

The film is currently scheduled to hit theaters on September 22nd.
