The 1991 classic sci-fi action masterpiece by James Cameron that starred Arnold Schwarzenegger in his most iconic role is back in theaters, and for the first time ever in 3D. Check out the new trailer for "Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D," which will have a limited run in theaters this August, before hitting stores on blu-ray.

With a 3D conversion supervised by James Cameron himself, who is quoted saying: "This 3D conversion will create a whole new immersive viewing experience." The film tells the story of a T-800 Terminator from the future sent back in time to protect a young John Conner (Edward Furlong) from a newer version of Terminator that is out there, that can't be bargained with, can't be reasoned with and doesn't feel pity, remorse, or fear and will absolutely will not stop till John Connor is dead.

The upgraded "Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D" will have a limited theatrical run starting on August 25th, with a blu-ray release soon to follow.

synopsis:
It has been 10 years since the events of Terminator. Sarah Connor’s ordeal is only just beginning as she struggles to protect her son John, the future leader of the human resistance against the machines, from a new Terminator, sent back in time to eliminate John Connor while he’s still a child.

Sarah and John don’t have to face this terrifying threat alone however. The human resistance have managed to send them an ally, a warrior from the future ordered to protect John Connor at any cost. The battle for tomorrow has begun….
