Sure, we all know that clothes can make the man -- or rather, the "Kingsman". But what makes a "Statesman"? Well, apparently, it's a fine bottle of American bourbon whiskey.

Filmmaker Matthew Vaughn returns this year with the action-spy sequel "Kingsman: The Golden Circle." And it appears Vaughn has come up with a brilliant idea for a promotional tie-in: Old Forester bourbon!

In a new promo for the upcoming "Kingsman" sequel, Vaughn introduces a new deliciously smooth line of whiskey (called Old Forester Statesman) which ties in with the movie's plotline concerning the introduction of the Statesman, the American "cousins" of the super-secret British spy organization known as the Kingsman.

Members of the Statesman include Agent Tequila (Channing Tatum), Agent Champagne (Jeff Bridges), Agent Whiskey (Pedro Pascal) and Ginger (Halle Berry). They are going to be teaming up with Kingsman agents Eggsy (Taron Egerton) and Merlin (Mark Strong) after a new mysterious villain blows up their British headquarters.

The film, which will also see the resurrection of Colin Firth's Harry Hart, is set to hit theaters on September 22nd. But more importantly, the bourbon will be made available in August.

synopsis:
"Kingsman: The Secret Service" introduced the world to Kingsman -- an independent, international intelligence agency operating at the highest level of discretion, whose ultimate goal is to keep the world safe.

In "Kingsman: The Golden Circle," our heroes face a new challenge. When their headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, their journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US called Statesman, dating back to the day they were both founded. In a new adventure that tests their agents' strength and wits to the limit, these two elite secret organizations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world, something that's becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy...
