Kevin Spacey returns for the fifth time as Frank Underwood, the Machiavellian congressman from South Carolina who has muscled his way into the White House in Netflix's groundbreaking political drama "House of Cards."

The streaming company has released the official trailer for the show's forthcoming 'Season 5', offering a peek at Underwood and his vicious strategy for convincing the American people that he alone can alleviate their fears and fix all their problems: "One nation -- Underwood."

With Melissa James Gibson (FX's The Americans) and Frank Pugliese (TV's Borgia) stepping in as the new showrunners for season five (replacing series creator Beau Willimon who decided to exit the show after the end of the fourth season), the new episodes will also see the return of original cast members Robin Wright as Frank's wife and now VP Claire and Michael Kelly as Frank's number one enforcer Doug Stamper.

The cast of Season 5 will also include Joel Kinnaman, Neve Campbell, Dominique McElligott, and Patricia Clarkson.

Netflix plans to release the new season later this month, beginning Tuesday, May 30th.

"The American people don't know what's best for them... I do."
