Syfy fully embraces the unbridled spirit of old-school Grindhouse exploitation films with the network's latest off-the-wall action series "Blood Drive."

Set to premiere on Wednesday, June 14th, check out the newly released, uncensored trailer for the twisted Syfy thriller, starring Alan Ritchson (from "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" and TV's "Blue Mountain State") and Christina Ochoa (from the TV series "Animal Kingdom" and "Matador") as a Ken-doll cop and a violent vixen who find themselves motoring across a post-apocalyptic 1999 Los Angeles in a muscle car run on blood as they compete in a death race against every type of depraved beings you can think of -- namely, cannibals, monsters, cult members, psycho lawmen, nymphos, and amazon fighters.

Created by James Roland, "Blood Drive" will run for 13 episodes. It also stars Thomas Dominique (Black Mirror), Marama Corlett (The Goob), and Colin Cunningham (Falling Skies).

synopsis:
Los Angeles in the near future: where water is a scarce as oil, and climate change keeps the temperature at a cool 115 in the shade. It's a place where crime is so rampant that only the worst violence is punished, and where Arthur Bailey -- the city’s last good cop -- runs afoul of the dirtiest and meanest underground car rally in the world, Blood Drive.
