They say hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Well, Colin Farrell will soon be feeling the heat when he starts seducing the wrong women in director Sofia Coppola's sexually charged Gothic thriller "The Beguiled," which also stars Nicole Kidman, Kirsten Dunst, and Elle Fanning.

The film casts Farrell as a wounded Union Army soldier named John McBurney, who finds himself under the care of several young Southern women at a girls’ boarding school. Oscar-winner Nicole Kidman plays Martha Farnsworth, the school's headmistress who teaches Mr. McBurney a hard lesson when he's caught seducing two of her students.

Based on the 1966 novel by Thomas Cullinan, and written for the screen by Coppola. The film also co-stars Kirsten Dunst as the school's eldest student Edwina, who first falls for McBurney (Farrell) as he makes a promise to take her with him after he recovers, but at the same time, he has started seducing the younger student Alicia (played by Fanning).

"The Beguiled" will find its way into theaters on June 23rd.
