A new international trailer for "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" is offering our best look yet at the latest entry in Disney's swashbuckling franchise. The preview also confirms a couple of things: Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow doesn't necessarily need a plan (or pants for that matter) to save his neck from the guillotine. Plus: yo-ho, yo-ho, is that Keira Knightley I see?! It seems Knightley will indeed make a surprise cameo in the movie, which is already filled with plenty of appearances by the likes of Orlando Bloom's Will Turner and Geoffrey Rush's Captain Barbossa.

The brand-new film, however, is centered around new villain Captain Salazar (a zombie-looking Javier Bardem) who has returned from the dead to settle a score with the pirate that got away, Jack Sparrow. The story also deals with Sparrow looking for the fabled Trident of Poseidon, enlisting the help of Will Turner's son Henry (Brenton Thwaites) and a ballsy astronomer named Carina Smyth (Kaya Scodelario).

Directed by Norwegian duo Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg (Kon-Tiki), "POTC: Dead Men Tell No Tales" arrives in theaters on May 26th.

synopsis:
Johnny Depp returns to the big screen as the iconic, swashbuckling anti-hero Jack Sparrow in the all-new "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales."

The rip-roaring adventure finds down-on-his-luck Captain Jack feeling the winds of ill-fortune blowing strongly his way when deadly ghost sailors, led by the terrifying Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), escape from the Devil's Triangle bent on killing every pirate at sea -- notably Jack. Jack's only hope of survival lies in the legendary Trident of Poseidon, but to find it he must forge an uneasy alliance with Carina Smyth (Kaya Scodelario), a brilliant and beautiful astronomer, and Henry (Brenton Thwaites), a headstrong young sailor in the Royal Navy.

At the helm of the Dying Gull, his pitifully small and shabby ship, Captain Jack seeks not only to reverse his recent spate of ill fortune, but to save his very life from the most formidable and malicious foe he has ever faced.
