As they're just about to take a very long space voyage, crew members of the colony ship "Covenant" transmit some last-minute video messages to their families in a couple of new promo spots for director Ridley Scott's new "Alien" movie. It's just too bad that these recorded messages will be the last thing they ever send to their loved ones because it's very likely they're never coming back. At least in one piece.
"Alien: Covenant" is the second installment of the "Alien" prequel series, following 2012's "Prometheus." Boasting a large and impressive ensemble cast, the film is led by Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, and Michael Fassbender. It's set to open everywhere on May 19th.
Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created, with ALIEN: COVENANT, a new chapter in his groundbreaking ALIEN franchise. The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.
