Independent Spirit Award-winning writer-director Adam Leon follows up his acclaimed feature film debut "Gimme the Loot" with another New York-set character-driven indie drama, which is scheduled to be released this month on Netflix.

"Tramps" stars Callum Turner (from "Green Room") as an aspiring New York chef who is swept up in a perilous citywide excursion when trying to close a drug deal for his newly arrested criminal brother. After an accidental bag exchange, Turner is forced to team up with his brother's street-wise partner, played by newcomer Grace Van Patten.

The film earned positive reviews at last year's Toronto International Film Festival. It will premiere on Netflix on Friday, April 21st. Watch the trailer, above.

synopsis:
In Tramps, Danny (Callum Turner) is an aspiring chef whose hustler brother asks him to complete a job for him. It all seems simple enough: meet a driver with a briefcase, proceed to a rendez-vous spot and exchange one briefcase for another. But Danny swaps the wrong bag, sending him and the driver Ellie (Grace Van Patten) on a two-day odyssey through the boroughs and suburbs of New York City.
