Don't underestimate Britt Robertson. 'Cause she's a feisty fashion hustler who "got it aaaall" in the debut trailer for Netflix's new original series "Girlboss." The 13-episode dramedy is loosely based on 'Nasty Gal' website founder Sophia Amoruso's best-selling autobiography of the same name, recounting how she turned a small vintage clothing venture into a multi-million dollar online retail empire.

Robertson, who you may know as the star of "Tomorrowland" and "The Longest Ride," plays a fictionized version of Sophia, a young entrepreneur who collects and sells vintage clothes, but after getting bombarded with negative feedback on her EBAY account, she decides to launch her very own e-commerce website.

The Netflix series is created by "Pitch Perfect" screenwriter Kay Cannon, who is also executive producing alongside Charlize Theron. The cast also includes Johnny Simmons (The Perks of Being a Wallflower), Dean Norris (TV's Breaking Bad), Alphonso McAuley (TV's The Middle), and newcomer Ellie Reed with appearances by Jim Rash, RuPaul, and Melanie Lynskey.

With all 13 episodes directed by Christian Ditter (How to Be Single, Love Rosie), "Girlboss" is set to premiere globally on April 21st on Netflix.

synopsis:
