Check out a two-minute animated short film for Disney and Pixar's upcoming Land-of-the-Dead musical "Coco," which features the four-legged supporting star trying to enjoy a tasty snack.

The bone-loving hairless dog named Dante belongs to a 12-year-old Mexican boy, named Miguel (voiced by newcomer Anthony Gonzalez) whose only wish in life is to become a famous musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (voiced by Benjamin Bratt). But when Miguel's unbridled enthusiasm takes him to his hero's guitar, it magically transports Miguel to an otherworldly land of the dead where he will find out about his past family secrets.

Directed by Oscar-winning animator Lee Unkrich (Toy Story 3) and co-directed and written by Pixar artist Adrian Molina (Monsters University), "Coco" will also feature the voice of Gael Garcia Bernal (Mozart in the Jungle) as a charming trickster named Hector.

"Coco" will arrive in theaters on November 22nd.

synopsis:
Despite his family's baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel (voice of newcomer Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (voice of Benjamin Bratt). Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector (voice of Gael Garcia Bernal), and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel's family history.
