A newly engaged woman has a steamy love affair with a female construction worker in the trailer for the lesbian erotic drama "Below Her Mouth," which, apparently, is one of the first films to receive IMDB's newly adopted category label "F-Rating" as it meets all the criteria: 1. the film is directed by a woman; 2. was written by a woman. And 3. features significant women on the screen.

Made by an all-female crew, "Below Her Mouth" stars Canadian TV actress Natalie Krill (Orphan Black, Wynonna Earp) as a fashion editor, who, despite being engaged to her boyfriend (Sebastian Pigott), embarks on a secret weekend fling with an openly lesbian roofer, played by Swedish model Erika Linder. It's "Fifty Shades" but with a Canadian-lesbian twist.

Directed by Canadian actress-turned-TV director April Mullen (Killjoys, Wynonna Earp), written by Canadian screenwriter Stephanie Fabrizi, produced by first-time feature producer Melissa Coghlan and shot by Canadian cinematographer Maya Bankovic (My Prairie Home), "Below Her Mouth" opened in Canada last month, but will make its US premiere next month, hitting both U.S. theaters and VOD on April 28th.

synopsis:
In BELOW HER MOUTH, Jasmine (Natalie Krill) is a successful fashion editor living with her fiancé, Rile (Sebastian Pigott). On a night out in the city with her best friend, she meets Dallas (Erika Linder), a roofer recently out of a relationship. Surprised by the confidence with which Dallas pursues her, Jasmine turns Dallas down -- but can’t get her out of her head. When Jasmine finally succumbs, the two women embark on a steamy affair that forces them both to reevaluate their lives.
