It's geek vs. chic! Former Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice and The Middle's Eden Sher play a couple of high school misfits who, after being taunted and bullied, decide to mobilize a campaign to unify all the socially unpopular cliques in their school as a way to rally against the mean girls and their not-so-wonderful cool friends in the trailer for "The Outcasts."

The high school comedy also stars Ashley Rickards (Awkward), Claudia Lee (Hart of Dixie), Noah Robbins (Grease Live!), Jazmyn C. Richardson (Party at Micah's), Katie Chang (The Bling Ring), Peyton List (Bunk'd), and Avan Jogia (Victorious).

Directed by Peter Hutchings (Rhymes with Banana) and written by screenwriting newcomers Dominique Ferrari & Suzanne Wrubel, "The Outcasts" is scheduled to hit theaters and VOD on April 14th.

synopsis:
After falling victim to a humiliating prank by the high school queen bee, Jodi (Victoria Justice) and her best friend Mindy (Eden Sher) plot their revenge by uniting all of the school's outcasts to overthrow the cruel reign of the popular clique once and for all. But in a tale of "be careful what you wish for," a taste of power gets the best of all of them, nearly ruining Jodi and Mindy's friendship and threatening to sabotage Jodi's budding romance with Dave (Avan Jogia). A relatable journey about finding where you belong in a world where you're hastily defined by your peers, THE OUTCASTS turns the teenage experience upside-down with humor, wit, empathy, and a lot of fun.
