The Legend of Master Legend
Acclaimed character actor John Hawkes (Winter's Bone, HBO's Deadwood) plays a real-life street superhero patrolling the crime-ridden parts of Las Vegas in the dark comedy pilot, which is directed by James Ponsoldt (The Spectacular Now, The Circle).

Oasis
Based on an acclaimed novel by sci-fi writer Michel Faber (Under the Skin), "Game of Thrones" actor Richard Madden stars as a volunteer chaplain with a troubled past who is sent into space to a newly colonized planet, only to discover the workers in the colony are slowly going stir crazy. "The Last King of Scotland" helmer Kevin Macdonald directs, while Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense), Antje Traue (Man of Steel), and Anil Kapoor (24: India) co-star.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
"Gilmore Girls" creator Amy Sherman-Palladino writes and directs this comedy-drama pilot about a young 1950s New York housewife (played by Emmy-nominee Rachel Brosnahan, from "House of Cards" and "Patriots Day") who decides to start a career as a stand-up comic during the era of Lenny Bruce. Alex Borstein (Family Guy) and Michael Zegen (HBO's Boardwalk Empire) co-star.

Budding Prospects
In his first directing effort in over ten years, "Bad Santa" and "Ghost World" director Terry Zwigoff makes his long-awaited return with this half-hour comedy pilot based on the book by T. C. Boyle about three San Francisco slackers who come together to launch a marijuana-growing business in 1983. Joel David Moore (Avatar), Will Sasso (MADtv), and Adam Rose (Veronica Mars) star, while Zwigoff is also serving as executive producer.

The New V.I.P.'s
Amazon's first adult animated comedy, created by Steve Dildarian (The Life & Times of Tim), centers on a group of low-level office workers who unintentionally kill their boss, but decide to use the incident to take over the company. The voice cast includes comedians Matt Braunger (MADtv), Ben Schwartz (Parks and Rec), Missi Pyle (Gone Girl), and Jonathan Adams (Last Man Standing).
