Gru meets Dru in the new full-length trailer for "Despicable Me 3."

In this third installment of the hit animated film series, Steve Carell pulls double duty, providing the voices of both reformed supervillain, now family man Gru and his long-lost, blonde-haired twin brother Dru.

The animated comedy, which also boasts the voices of Kristen Wiig and "South Park" co-creator Trey Parker, revolves around Gru and Dru's surprise family reunion, which is right about the same time that Gru goes up against a new adversary: Balthazar Bratt (Parker), a former child star who's completely obsessed with the 80s, including the character he used to play as a young pipsqueak.

Dru also appears to be the evil twin as he reveals himself as being a world-class supervillain and tries to lure Gru back to his former life. To which Gru's little yellow sidekicks, the Minions, are all for it.

Animators Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda, who directed the two previous "Despicable" movies and the 2015 spin-off blockbuster "Minions," are directing the upcoming threequel with "Despicable" character designer Eric Guillon serving as the co-director.

"Despicable Me 3" hits theaters June 30th.

synopsis:
The team who brought you Despicable Me and the biggest animated hits of 2013 and 2015, Despicable Me 2 and Minions, returns to continue the adventures of Gru, Lucy, their adorable daughters -- Margo, Edith and Agnes -- and the Minions.

Joining Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig in Despicable Me 3 is Emmy, Tony and Grammy Award winner Trey Parker, co-creator of Comedy Central's global phenomenon South Park and the Broadway smash The Book of Mormon.
