Moving into a new neighborhood can be a stressful experience. But moving into a new neighborhood and finding out you're the only interracial couple on the block -- well, that can be an experience you won't soon forget.

Check out the trailer for "Little Boxes," an indie comedy starring Melanie Lynskey (star of Netflix's Sundance-winner "I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore") and Nelsan Ellis (from HBO's hit vampire series "True Blood") as an interracial married couple who have just moved into a small suburban town with their 11-year-old biracial son (played by Armani Jackson; "Grey's Anatomy").

Directed by Rob Meyer (A Birder's Guide to Everything) and written by Annie Howell (Small Beautifully Moving Parts), the film is basically a fish-outta-water comedy about a mixed-race family trying to fit into their new small town surroundings, only to realize that they can't help but feel out of place.

Produced by "True Detective: Season 1" director Cary Joji Fukunaga and "La La Land" producer Jordan Horowitz, "Little Boxes" co-stars Janeane Garofalo, Christine Taylor, Oona Laurence, and Nadia Dajani. The film premiered last year at the Tribeca Film Festival. It's now slated for an April 14th theatrical release.
