It looks as if Netflix's new supernatural mystery series would've been a perfect case for Mulder and Scully. Check out the first look teaser for the upcoming German-language drama series, "Dark," which is currently scheduled to start streaming globally this winter.

The series is being described as a mysterious saga that follows four families in a small German town who find their lives being torn apart when two children mysteriously disappear, and the investigation for the missing teens only leads to the families' deepest and darkest secrets.

The 10-part, hour-long series is co-created by the producers behind the 2007 foreign-language Oscar-winning spy thriller "The Lives of Others," and the director of the 2014 German cyber thriller "Who Am I?," Baran bo Odar, who also directs the pilot.

"Dark" will see the light sometime in Winter of 2017.
