So, who is Danny Rand? Well, he's a curly-haired billionaire heir who was thought to have died in a plane crash fifteen years ago until he suddenly showed up out of the blue at his family-owned New York corporation, donning a scraggly beard and a very strange tattoo. Which isn't actually a tattoo: it's "the mark of the Iron Fist."

So, what does Danny want, now that he's back home? He wants to stamp out a mythological dark force that has not only infested his family's company but also the city.

Check out a new featurette for Marvel's "Iron Fist," Netflix's latest street-level superhero series, starring "Game of Thrones" actor Finn Jones as Danny Rand (a.k.a. Iron Fist), the final member of the upcoming Defenders team.

"Iron Fist" is chronicling Danny Rand's origins as a young New York scion-turned-martial arts crime fighter, who spent most of his life under the tutelage of Buddhist monks and was taught how to harness the power of the Iron Fist. It's a special fighting ability that he'll need when he takes on an evil force threatening his home city of New York.

Co-starring David Wenham (The Lord of the Rings), Jessica Henwick (Game of Thrones), Jessica Stroup (The Following), Tom Pelphrey (Banshee) and Rosario Dawson, the Scott Buck-produced superhero series will premiere on Friday, March 17th, only on Netflix.
