Rejoice martial arts fans! AMC's dystopian action series "Into the Badlands" is returning in March, and it looks like an adrenaline-fueled thrill ride you won't want to miss.

The cable network has released a couple of new promos for the upcoming second season, which sees the return of Hong Kong martial arts star Daniel Wu (Warcraft, Tai Chi Zero) as "Sunny," a deadly assassin who is struggling to find his place in a feudal world; and English actress Emily Beecham (Hail, Caesar!) as "The Widow," a rogue assassin who has ignited a brutal civil war while seizing control of one of the main territories in the so-called "badlands."

When we last saw Sunny (Wu), he tried to flee the badlands with his pregnant girlfriend (Madeleine Mantock) but was instead captured and taken to an underground prison camp. Meanwhile, The Widow (Beecham) had just killed a rival "Baron" and is now taken over his land with the help of her young protege (Ally Ioannides) and Sunny's former wheelchair-bound mentor, now-turncoat (Stephen Lang).

English comedian Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) joins the new season, playing Sunny's new cellmate and prison-break partner.

Created by "Smallville" creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, the AMC series also co-stars Aramis Knight, Sarah Bolger, Oliver Stark, and Orla Brady. It's set to return on Sunday, March 19th.

Centuries from now, a feudal society has emerged in the wake of civilization's destruction. This area is now called the Badlands and is uneasily divided among seven rival Barons. Each Baron enforces their iron rule with the aid of loyal armies of trained assassins known as Clippers.

The most lethal of the Badlands' Clippers is Sunny (Daniel Wu) -- the Regent (Head Clipper) and most trusted advisor of Baron Quinn (Marton Csokas). For decades, Quinn has been unchallenged as the Badlands’ most powerful Baron; however, the territory’s newest Baron, The Widow (Emily Beecham), has begun testing his appetite for a fight.

One day, Sunny rescues M.K. (Aramis Knight), a teenage boy who has survived a deadly ambush. Sunny soon comes to understand that the teen harbors a dark secret and has a hefty bounty on his head. Together, they will embark on an odyssey that could mean the difference between chaos and enlightenment for everyone in the Badlands.
